Butter London Yummy Mummy Nail Colour – Review

Butter London Yummy Mummy Nail Polish

Butter London Yummy Mummy Nail Polish

Yummy Mummy is the magic ‘suit-all’ nail colour from Butter London.  Yummy Mummy is a medium beige nail colour that is supposed to look simply stunning on every skin colour.

This nail colour is very popular with fellow beauty bloggers.  It’s one of those shades that looks a different colour on different people – or indeed in different light.  In the bottle the colour is a tan beige shade, and when held against the light it gently glistens with a silver metallic tone. When applied on the nails it looks a beautiful tan colour – even a little golden in some light.

The polish applies beautifully, the first coat went on sheer but not at all streaky and the second coat applied opaque.

I have finished my manicure with the Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top Coat. I have applied two coats of the nail colour and one coat of the top coat to achieve this finish.

Sometimes a nude brown polish can be very hard to pull off.  You have to get the exact colour that works with your skin tone or it can make your skin look dirty.  This colour does work well with my skin tone and I would recommend this colour if you are going on holiday or have a tan.

I bought my Yummy Mummy Butter London nail colour from Boots for £12.00

Have you tried the Butter London polishes? Do you have a favourite?

Talk to you all soon x

  1. I absolutely love Butter London’s polishes. They are my go-to higher end splurges, and I have yet to find one I don’t love. This is a gorgeous brown! I think it would go well with my warmer skin tone.
