You can never have too many lipsticks, at least that’s what I tell myself! I have always been really impressed with Bourjois products so was really keen to try the Rouge Edition Lipsticks and Rose Tweed 04 was the colour on top of my list!
The Bourjois Rouge Edition lipstick collection contains 18 ‘must have’ colours that have been tested and approved by fashion editors. These lipsticks are enriched with orchid blossom extract promising a radiant glossy finish. The lipstick collection is separated into three colour categories that make finding your perfect colour to match your personality and style easy! The lipstick categories include Preppy which is a collection of pinks and soft peach shades, Colour Block which includes noticeable bright shades from orange to neon pink and finally Night Out which includes classic reds and dark rich browns. Rose Tweed 04 belongs to the Preppy collection.
The swatch above has one layer on the top and two layers underneath showing how this lipstick is buildable. The colour has a lovely pink tone that makes this the perfect lipstick for being a ‘my lips but better’ lipstick.
The lipstick is easily applied straight from the bullet without the need for a lip brush. It glides onto my lips and leaves a beautiful glossy sheen on my lips. The lipstick lasts about 3 hours and the formula is non drying. The lipstick does not need a gloss so is perfect for on the go.
This lipstick is reminiscent of my Bobbi Brown Sandwash Pink lipstick that I reviewed recently and absolutely love. This lipstick is priced at £7.99 for 3.5g and is very good value for money. A perfect nude to add to my collection!
Have you tried any of the Bourjois Rouge Edition lipsticks? I would love to hear how you found them.
Talk to you all soon x
