I can truly think of no better lipstick to wear on a Monday than Charlotte Tilbury. Perfect for adding a touch of colour to my face and quite literally lighting up my complexion. Amazing Grace by Charlotte Tilbury is a beautiful lipstick that I have had my eye on for some time. I was a very very lucky girl recently and was given this lipstick as a gift and I can honestly say I have worn it every day since! For that reason, I had to choose this lipstick as my Lipstick Monday colour of choice. Lets get started!
Matte Revolution certainly boasts staying power. I am able to get a good 5 hours out of it and it does not budge when drinking and only starts to transfer after eating. It also creates the illusion of fuller lips, and comes in a range of colours that light up your face. It is enriched with Charlottes exclusive Lipstick Tree extract that protect lips and contain Orchid Extract that visibly smooth and hydrate. This lipstick is so easy to apply and looks just as pretty either applied softy or built up for that extra wow factor.
I love the shape of this lipstick. It has a square finish that mimics a lip brush for ease of application. I can honestly say this is not a gimmick and really does help you achieve a really precise finish. As you can see from the image below, my cupids bow is particularly enhanced – and this was all done by applying the lipstick directly from the tube and with no help from a brush.
The colour is like no other I own. A lovely natural tea rose shade with modern vibrant twist. Charlotte is right when she says this lipstick lights up your face from within, it has really given my face a lovely glow.
Do you ever find that some matte lipsticks can be really difficult to apply? They may stick to your lips for most of the day, but getting them there in the first place can often be difficult to say the least! This lipstick glides on effortlessly and has an almost balm like consistency. In fact, the lipstick kiss below was particularly hard to do for this lipstick. It just didn’t want to transfer onto the paper!
So, Charlotte Tilbury’s Amazing Grace was todays lipstick of choice, and it definitely got me through an otherwise dull and rainy Monday. This lipstick is priced at £23.00 and is available from Charlotte Tilbury counters and online nationwide. The packaging is the iconic Charlotte Tilbury vintage style gold packaging, making this lipstick both pretty on the lips and in the tube!
Hopefully next Monday I will have a new lipstick to share with you all, if of course I am able to stop myself applying this one! I can’t promise I won’t be sharing Amazing Grace with you all over again!! Oh what dilemma’s Lipstick Monday brings me…. It’s a hard life being a lipstick addict!…..
Talk to you all soon x
I have been really looking forward to sharing this lipstick with you all. Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in shade 107 is a favourite with bloggers and vloggers alike. A beauty blogger I follow recently posted a review of this lipstick and I thought how beautiful the colour looked, and put it onto my never ending wishlist. The next morning I was choosing a lipstick to wear and saw that I did, in fact, already own it! Yes, that really is what you call having too much! Have you ever done this?!
Rimmel 107 is a a deep berry toned red with cool undertones. I suit cool based lipsticks and this lipstick really does brighten up my face. I absolutely love everything about this lipstick and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is a semi-matte shade so it lasts a good 5 hours on my lips looking as good as when I put it on. It does not budge with coffee drinking and only appeared partially faded with eating.
The lipstick is super pigmented, yet very easy to apply. It is a statement lip but is very easy to blend using a lip brush. If you want a little more subdued look but still want to stay true to the colour, I would recommend applying just once to the bottom lip and working it in with a brush. The lipstick did not bleed and did not dry my lips out.
I am absolutely loving this shade at the moment and can see why it is so popular. The perfect Autumn and Christmas lipstick. I have read it looks good on most skin tones (it definitely suits pale tones like myself!). I love that this lipstick is so long lasting and doesn’t fade to the dreaded blotchy ‘lip liner’ look that I have described in the past!
The packaging is lovely, with Kate’s signature on the lid, and you get 4g of lipstick.
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss is priced at £5.49 from Boots (to name but one retailer) I cannot quite believe that this lipstick is so reasonably priced for the quality of it. If you haven’t already got it, and are looking for a new statement lip for the coming holiday season then look no further. This is the one!
I cannot wait to buy more lipsticks from the Kate Moss Rimmel collection, and would love to hear any recommendations from you.

I am really enjoying looking after my skin at the moment. I won’t lie, this is partly because for once in my life I actually quite like how it looks. For todays post I wanted to share with you all a lovely mask I have found on the shelves of Boots. I have been intrigued to try this brand for some time so when I found it was on offer I decided to give it a go.
Masque Bar is a fairly new brand that have created a range of beauty breakthroughs from teams across Asia, Europe and the Americas. They promise to deliver a range of masks that exceed the benefits of those you would find in spas. Now that really is a promise!
These masks are developed in Korea, and this really excites me as Korea it the hot topic of the beauty world right now!
You get three individual sachets each containing 15ml of product. I shared one sachet with my mum and managed to do this twice so one was actually enough for 4 applications. I ensured the opening of the sachet was sealed securely so had no problems with it drying out.
The mask contains ingredients such as kaolin and fruit oil to name but a few.
The mask is a thick creamy white clay that you apply to a cleansed wet face avoiding the eyes and lips. I leave the mask on for at least 15-20 minutes (even 30 minutes plus!). The mask will dry to a harder consistency and at that point you will know it is ready for removal. I take the mask off using warm water, and it leaves behind a lovely glowing fresh appearance. It calms down any redness I may have and leaves my skin wonderfully smooth ready to take on my makeup the next day. As always with any clay mask, its important to moisturise well afterwards. My Mum and I have different skin types but we both found benefits in using this mask. I therefore think this is a product well worth recommending to you all.
This mask is currently on offer in Boots for £9.99.
Have you tried any of the other masks in this range? I would love to hear from you.
